JOHN RICCI'S comments on HEAVY METAL MANIAC:
We had no idea, that a 9-song demo, that we had recorded,
in the basement of our soundman (John Belrose, and he deserves
alot of credit for the success of this record) would affect so many heavy
metal fans throughout the world, we were unprepared for the response and the
profile that we achieved. The aggressivness of this record comes from years
of frustation of being a musician and not getting respect from the music
industry, so as a result, you plug in your guitar, into stacks of
Marshalls, turn the volume up to 10, and play the hell out of your guitar
until your ears are bleeding (which I would not recommend to anyone).
